Inch

Even though the whole underground punk rock thing is old at this point, it's still seems somehow very cool to know about bands that are so under the radar that a select few know about them, and that connection is what makes that awareness special. I've been listening to Fishwife a bunch lately, and Inch, too. And they're both amazing bands.

It's been a while since I've written about Inch, and that's a while too long. What is it about this band that has maintained my interest as much as any other band over the last 10 years?

Inch - Crippler

If you've read this site much you know I love this band. Inch remains one of the most underground bands you can find in this world of internet-everything. You can't even find lyrics to this song on any lyrics sites -- there aren't a lot of bands you can say that about, especially bands who put records out on Atlantic, Seed, TAG, and Cargo/Headhunter. Don't let the lack of info fool you, though. If you love RFTC, Drive Like Jehu, Fugazi, Nirvana, At The Drive-In, Refused, or any modern guitar rock band, you'll find riffs, hooks and melodies to dig with Inch.
